10. Some Distinctives
We believe in a six literal day creation, ecclesiastical separation from false teachers, and the autonomy of the local church. We are intentionally not a part of the charismatic movement, the modern ecumenical movement, and the so-called "prosperity gospel" movement. We believe that, due to the holy nature of God and His infinite worthiness, the music with which we worship Him should reflect those attributes. It should not, in any way, mimic or reflect worldly or sensual musical styles. Therefore, we seek to use conservative songs that glorify God in text and music.
