7. The Church
We believe the church is a unique spiritual organism made up of all born-again believers in this present age. Members of the church universal are to be actively involved in a local church. The head of the church is Christ and the apostles and prophets are the foundation. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by teaching, evangelism, prayer, fellowship, and service. The two ordinances are baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. The church and pastoral epistles inform us as to the church's leaders, order, discipline, and gifts.
