We believe that man was created by the special act of God in the image and after the likeness of God. Man chose by his own free will and through Satan's temptation to rebel against God and thus fell from his holy and happy estate. All people since Adam have been born sinners (Jesus Christ being the only exception) and are thus under the penalty of sin.
