1. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the Divinely inspired Word of God in its entirety, written by men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, that it is without error, and that it is the sole authority for faith and conduct. Because it is the very Word of God, it must be handled with integrity and "rightly divided" and interpreted by the literal, historical, grammatical, and contextual approach. Because the canon of scripture was closed by God Himself, no new revelation is being given or is needed. The Bible does not "contain" the Word of God - it is the Word of God!
